Sales and Marketing Executive Job in Kenya

We are an international Organization with offices in most major towns in the Country. 
We have a vacancy in the below position which we need to fill urgently.

Sales and Marketing Executive

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies in line with corporate strategies
  • Schedule and execute sales activity
  • Develop and maintain a customer database
  • Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials
  • Plan and conduct direct marketing activities
  •  Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Negotiate with clients
  • Develop sales proposals
  • Present sales contracts
  • Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
  • Conduct market and marketing research and surveys
  •  Participate in sales events
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
  • Grow the business unit revenues and profitability
Reporting to: The respective Business Manager

Profile:
  • Bachelors degree in sales, marketing, business development or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, PowerPoint, CRM and other relevant computer applications
  • In-depth knowledge of principles and practices of sales and marketing
  • In-depth knowledge of customer service principles
  • Knowledge of basic business principles
  • At least 4 years experience in services, B2B and B2G sales
  • Excellent experience in making presentations and all round communications
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve set sales targets

  • Pro-active, independent, self sufficient;
  • Attention for detail, accurate, structured and organised;
  • A hands on mentality and enjoying working in complex and challenging work environments.
