Internal Auditors KCB Bank Group Job Ref AUD 02/2012 Role Summary: The Group Internal Audit division of KCB Bank Group is looking for suitably qualified candidates to join the Group Internal Audit team, currently based at the Kencom House, Head Office (Nairobi), at the Auditor level. He/she will be required to perform and execute internal audits across the different divisions of the KCB Bank Group. Key Responsibilities Perform and execute quality internal audits across the different divisions of the KCB Bank Group. In addition to the broad exposure to different businesses / functions, the Internal Auditor you will also work with different levels of management in different locations where KCB has a presence. Build and develop long term relationships with audit clients. Demonstrate excellent auditing skills in the performance and execution of quality audits: – deliver audit work on time, with minimal supervision; – identify and discuss (raise and clear) audit issues with management; – draft audit issues into a report highlighting the business impacts and risks ; – keep within time and cost budgets. The Person University degree preferably in Business related field. Professionally qualified (either ACIB, CPA, ACCA, CISA,CFA) 4 years of experience in a professional Auditing Firm 4 years working experience in the internal audit department of a commercial Bank in a management role 4 years commercial banking experience in any of the areas of Credit Management Risk Management, Finance and/or Treasury Demonstrate leadership ability capacity. Strong Business and Financial Analytical skills Superior communication and inter-personal skills, including report writing. Effective planning, organizing and problem solving skills Strong management and administrative skills Initiative and self drive. Position Title: Junior Data Systems Assistant

Under the overall supervision of the Officer in Charge (O.I.C.) FAO Somalia and the direct supervision of the Data Systems and Information Manager will provide support in the implementation of the field programme at the country office level and will support the FSNAU Data systems team in software and hardware.
In particular to:

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Management of the FSNAU external mailing list, ensuring it is updated all the time
  • Managing @fsnau emails and tracking the emails sent after release of publications
  • Assist in developing e-forms for data entry
  • Reactivating the Field Information Communication System (FICS) for Somalia-based travel and security; and ensure it is working at all times
  • Maintain the FSNAU inventory and making regular updates
  • Liaising with other teams, clean and maintain the network drive, ensuring there is space for new files
  • Report to the FAO Somali Admin team on new equipment acquisition and maintain the ADM41 form for reporting to HQ
  • Maintain the printer cartridges inventory and ensure that enough stock is retained by appropriately informing the Operations office
  • Maintain FSNAU Information Management Systems including the integrated database system in collaboration with the database programmers
  • Work closely with the ICT Officer tom ensure there is constant IT support including web mail, management of the mailing list and encouraging proper use of the e-mail system by staff and permissions
Minimum requirements:
  • Higher National Diploma in Information Technology or Diploma in Information Technology and equivalent IT experience and Training
  • At least 2 years experience
  • Competency in computer use including word processing; spreadsheet and web-based technologies
  • Knowledge in programming
  • Previous experience in developing e-forms
  • Ability to work swiftly and efficiently with all staff members with complete neutrality
  • Able to work in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work under minimum supervision and manage own time
  • Creative and solution-base thinker
  • Honest, reliable and responsive to the needs of system users
Selection Criteria
  • Relevance and level of academic qualifications;
  • Extent of experience in programme/project management/implementation and administration;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing;
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems expeditiously and pragmatically;
  • Tact, initiative and sound judgement;
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with the UN system;
