TechnoServe, Inc. is launching an exciting new program to help 54,000 smallholder fruit farmers double their incomes. This 4-year initiative will work in Kenya and Uganda in partnership with the Coca-Cola International to help farmers improve productivity, establish farmer-owned enterprises and create market linkages with identified processors and juice producers supplying local and regional markets with a view to demonstrating the potential for expansion to global exports in the future.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong business and analytical skills, relevant experience and a passion for making a difference to fill the position of Regional Monitoring & Evaluation Manager on the new fruit program.


The M & E Manager’s primary function is to ensure timely and effective implementation of the Monitoring and Evaluation systems and activities within the regional fruit program.
The incumbent should possess the following qualities: at least 5 years proven experience in M&E methods and approaches; skills in designing, planning and implementing M&E systems, information analysis and reporting based on the logical framework approach or other strategic planning approaches. Gender-specific Monitoring and Evaluation experience is an added advantage. First degree in relevant field is essential.

Jhpiego, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, is an international NGO supporting health programs to improve the health of women and their families. Senior Program Advisor


The Senior Program Advisor will provide program oversight in the conceptualization, design, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of programs. This includes working closely with program and technical staff to manage.
S/he will also mentor staff to be able to support programs, make program presentations and use of program data to facilitate evidence based decision making.
S/he will also liaise with Jhpiego Program and Technical Advisors regionally and globally to ensure comprehensive programmatic support to assigned programs. The Program Advisor represents Jhpiego to key stakeholders including donors, partners and MOH.


Qualifications

* Advanced degree in development studies, public health or related field
* 10+ years of experience managing large international health programs
* Strong programming, management and technical skills, specifically with RH, HIV, MCH and TB programs in Kenya
* Experience working on USAID-funded projects an asset
* Computer literacy, particularly in the use of MS Word and PowerPoint.
