School of Humanities & Social Sciences

• General Education Program: English - Lecturer/Assistant Professor (4 Positions)
• Criminal Justice Program - Lecturer/ Assistant Professor (1 Position)
• International Relations Program - Assistant Professor (1 Position)
• Psychology Program - Assistant Professor (1 Position)

School of Science & Technology

Applied Computer Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, Networking, Forensic Information Technology & Cyber Crime

• Applied Computer Technology Program - Assistant Professor (1 Position)
• Applied Computer Technology Program - Associate Professor (1 Position)

The successful candidates will be reporting to the Dean of their respective School. 

Each successful will be expected to teach, conduct research and engage in service to the university, the profession and to the community.

Professional Experience

Lecturer:

• At least a graduate degree in the area of application from a recognized University.
• At least two (2) years of teaching experience in a University or equivalent institution of higher learning.
• Having peer reviewed (or refereed) publications (e.g. journal articles, book chapters) in one’s area of specialization will be an added advantage.

Assistant Professor

• Must have a PhD in the area of application from a recognized University.
• At least three (3) years teaching experience at the rank of Lecturer or five (5) years of equivalent professional experience at the University or an equivalent institution of higher learning.
• Must have published at least four (4) papers in peer-referred journal articles and/or book chapters.
• Evidence of supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, theses and/ or dissertations.

Associate Professor

• Must have a PhD in in the area of application from a recognized University.
• At least five (5) years teaching experience at or seven (7) years of equivalent professional experience at the University or an equivalent institution of higher learning.
• Must have published at least four (4) papers in peer-referred journal articles and/or book chapters.
• Evidence of supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, theses and / or dissertations.
